911 Questions

911 is an emergency telephone number.  It is used to call for help in the event of an emergency, such as a fire, medical emergency, or crime.  When making a call to 911, an operator will answer and ask for the location and nature of the emergency. They will then dispatch the appropriate emergency services. It is important to use 911 responsibly and only call in true emergencies, as frivolous calls can prevent someone else from getting help when they need it.
